David Simmonds Chasing the ever-changing light and making beautiful images is why I get up every morning. I'm constantly inspired to show how much beauty there is around us in this world, and to reveal the extraordinary that lies hidden in the ordinary things of our surroundings and everyday lives, in our cities, the things that we build, and the wonders of nature. These days my focus is less on the built environment and much more on the natural world. Where I focus on the natural architecture the native elements of my chosen world. My main theme is what I call “Natural Abstractions,” Patterns of Patina and textures. Images that I trust reveal the oft hidden beauty of the world around us |

Sandra Curtis Born in Melbourne Sandra studied music therapy and classical piano at Melbourne University, gaining her Bachelor of Music degree, she also trained in Soul Centred Psychotherapy, running workshops for women focussing on personal growth and body centred practises. Sandra artistic practice arises from a synthesis of these experiences and explores the interior landscapes of the feminine archetypes and women’s rites of passage. She is inspired by her travels with these archetypes through dreams, imaginings, ancient symbols and myths, the natural world, and the female body. They all inform her creations. Her debut exhibition was Layers and Shadows at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale (Fringe) in 2013 and the was reprised at COPACC (Colac) in 2015. It explored the death of the ideal self, using the ubiquitous medium of the “selfie” to explore what lies beneath the persona. Looking inwards, who looks back? Sandra has also exhibited with David and other visual artist on many occasions in Colac, Apollo Bay and Port Campbell She lives in the Otways and currently teaches piano in Apollo Bay where she continues to explore her inner landscape through the shapes and colours of the natural world.
